Day 1: Arrival in El Calafate
– Afternoon: Arrive in El Calafate, the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park.
– Evening: Explore the town, visit the Glaciarium (a museum dedicated to glaciers), or relax in one of the cozy cafes.
– Stay: El Calafate
Day 2: Perito Moreno Glacier
– Morning: Take a guided tour to Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the only glaciers in the world that is still advancing. The tour typically includes a walk along the boardwalks with spectacular views and an optional boat tour that brings you closer to the glacier.
– Afternoon: Continue exploring the glacier from different viewpoints or try the “Mini-Trekking” on the glacier itself if you’re up for some adventure.
– Evening: Return to El Calafate.

Day 3: El Calafate to El Chaltén
– Morning: Depart by bus or car to El Chaltén (about 3 hours), a small village known as the trekking capital of Argentina.
– Afternoon: Check into your accommodation and take an easy hike, such as the trail to Mirador Los Cóndores, offering a panoramic view of the town and the surrounding mountains.
– Stay: El Chaltén
Day 4: Laguna de los Tres Trek
– Morning to Afternoon: Embark on the iconic Laguna de los Tres hike. This moderately challenging trail takes you to one of the most famous viewpoints in Patagonia, with stunning views of Mount Fitz Roy. The hike is about 20 km round trip and takes 7-8 hours.
– Evening: Return to El Chaltén for a relaxing evening.

Day 5: Lago Torre or Loma del Pliegue Tumbado Trek
– Morning: Choose between two excellent hikes:
– Lago Torre: A relatively easier trek (around 18 km round trip) leading to a glacial lake with views of Cerro Torre.
– Loma del Pliegue Tumbado: A more challenging hike (about 20 km round trip) that offers sweeping panoramic views of the entire range, including Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
– Evening: Enjoy your last night in El Chaltén.

Day 6: Return to El Calafate
– Morning: Take a bus or drive back to El Calafate.
– Afternoon: Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore El Calafate a bit more or head straight to the airport.

– Lago Torre: Another beautiful glacial lake that sits beneath the towering spires of Cerro Torre. The trail leading to this lake is slightly easier than the one to Laguna de los Tres but equally rewarding.

We walk along the stream interpreting the flora, we will taste a mountain wine in Mirador
del Arroyo with a tasting of confit lamb and when we return to the barbecue area we will have a
video projection of recognition of the pioneer families and then taste a delicious
dinner and a folklore show and then each one ends in their respective hotels.
